Week 3

Tuesday I researched and brainstormed event ideas for Our Family Wedding and The Bounty Hunter for college students. I thought of locations we could do something at and thought of possible activities. Some ideas were to have a Jennifer Anniston movie marathon or Friends marathon at the Union with giveaways and posters out for The Bounty Hunter or to have a theme menu at a restaurant on Campus Corner.

Thursday I worked more on Our Family Wedding. I called bridal stores, florists, bakeries and an upcoming bridal show about sending promo items like posters, compact mirrors, advance screening passes and enter to win box with prize packs. I got success with 7 places including the bridal show. I also started contacting Louie's and O'Connell's about planning bar nights to promote The Bounty Hunter and got the okay to plan a promotional day at Tea Cafe for The Bounty Hunter. Katie said I could take charge of The Bounty Hunter promotions and make them my own, which is pretty cool. I also packaged and mailed some items (bags and comic books) to radio stations and comic book stores for The Crazies.

Friday I followed up on the phone calls I made the day before and got together, packaged and mailed all the Our Family Wedding items. I also gathered all the contact information from the people who attended The Crazies advance screening at Harkins Theater Bricktown. I put it all into a document so we can email and mail them something later.
